Bhaage Re Mann is among the first two Indian original serials produced by the channel Zindagi that became popular for airing all Pakistani as well as Turkish serials.  Bhaage Re Mann was the first among the two said shows that began with its production sooner and started airing on the channel on 30 November 2015. The story of the show centered on the difficulties and stereotypes of an ambitious woman faces from society. The show followed the character of Padmini who has kept herself away and safe from all traditional and backward societal norms for 39 years but is now compelled to take up a task that would require her to shed her image and transfuses into someone opposite to her. The story was very new at the time of its release and with the wave of feminism rising in the Indian sub-continent, the show became a good example of demonstrating the changing role of women. All this made the show very popular among young girls who aspired to achieve something. The show was also popular among middle-aged women as they finally could see the hardships they face unravel on the screen.Â
So much so that the channel announced the second season of the show in April 2016 and the second season debuted on the network on 23 June 2016 and ran successfully till 25 July 2016. The show altogether had 123 episodes, 96 being in the first season and 27 being in the second one. The cast remained the same throughout. Padmini, the protagonist was played by
