Daayre is a Hindi serial broadcast on the ZEE TV channel. In this show, the story of a family is shown where the father, Vinayak, has left them. Their mother’s name is Sharda, who has been waiting for her husband from the time he left the home. They have three kids, two boys named Ajay and Ashok and a younger sister named Pooja. Ashok has recently completed his degree as an eye surgeon and has opened a clinic. Sharda’s brother, i.e., the children’s uncle, has spent money on their education. The kid’s aunt does not leave even a single second to remind the kids who paid for their studies. Their uncle has spent money on Ashok’s career in studies, and he owns his success to them. Their aunt forces Ajay to also settle in life, like Ashok. Ajay hates being ordered in life. He leaves the house after being taunted by his aunt. After Vinayak left, the kid’s aunt and uncle have taken the responsibility for the family. Ajay has a friend named Jenny, who inspires him to write poems on nature. Sharda is waiting for Ajay till late at night. She still has visions of their old life, where Vinayak was still in the picture. The day Vinayak left, he started behaving suspiciously. He did not eat after coming from the office and was irritated and worked at night. He wrote a goodbye letter, kissed his children and simply vanished. Sharda gets the letter and after reading it, she comes to know that he left the house as he cannot face them. Jenny’s mother has left her to go to England, but she couldn’t leave her father. Ajay and Ashok fight, but their mother advises them.
