According to reports, the show is an extension of the famous serial Ishqbaaz, which gottelecasted in 2016 on the same channel. As per the reports,the character of Omkara (played by Kunal Jaisingh) could not gather much appreciation and was recast in Dil Bole Oberoi to flourish as an actor. Dil Bole Oberoi focuses on the love life of two brothers Omkara and Rudra.The show begins in a small town of Bareilly.Omkara, portrayed as a ruthless, strong hearted and calculative character, who visits the city to crack a deal.Om meets his lady love Gauri for the very first time in Bareilly.

Gauri is shown escaping from Kaali Thakur who forcefully wants to marry her on gunpoint.After knowing about her husband’s remarriage, Kaali Thakur’s wife Jhanvi tries to burn herself. She suffers severe blisters and was takento the hospital with Omkara.The cops come to arrest Kaali Thakur since his wife filed a complaint against him and later she expired due to seriousinjury.

Kaali Thakur who plays a negative role in the serial tries to put the entire blame on Gauri. Gauri in the meantime tries to escape and boards a train where she meets Omkara again, and somehow they both fall from the train and straight away go into the river.Circumstances get worse for both of them.To save Gauri from the wrath of Kaali Thakur, Omkara marries Gauri and saves her.Eventually, Gauri reaches Mumbai searching for Omkara.

Svetlana also wants to tie the knot with Omkara by any means and adopts wrong ways to woo him.Gauri, on the other hand,finally enters into Oberoi Mansion.Together, Gauri, Omkara, and Rudra try to expose Svetlana. The serial became an instant hit with viewers due to its star cast, plot and superb sets. The makers of Ishqbaaz tried to present a lot of content through the serial.Eventually, they thought of creating a mini-series called “Dil Bole Oberoi,” which spins around the love interests of protagonists. This concept has been implemented for the first time on Indian Television and has proven to be a huge success.
