Hitler Didi which literally means Hitler Sister is a daily Indian Television soap which was aired on Zee TV on 7th November 2011. The serial has a backdrop of Delhi.

The TV soap depicts the life of hard working woman who has the responsibility of providing to her family single-handedly. The young Indira Sharma makes her family’s well being her aim because of which she turns out to become a workaholic and a strict disciplinarian who chooses not to show her emotions and loses her cool at even the minutest event. Rishi enters as a tenant at their house who with his happy-go-lucky nature brings about a light environment among the family members who seem to have become burdened by Indira’s reign.

Hitler Didi or Hitler Sister or Auntie Hitler in English is an Indian drama series broadcasted on Zee TV channel. The show was premiered on November 7, 2011 and ended on August 2, 2013. The story was shot in Delhi and broadcasted in Pakistan’s Express Entertainment channel. The show was ranked 4th in terms of acquiring TRP on Zee TV despite of the tight competition. 

Hitler Didi is all about the struggles of Indira Sharma (played by Rati Pandey), a 25-year old working girl who deals with her family and profession at the same time. She became famous in her neighborhood as Hitler Didi because of being serious. She has an extreme concern and care for her family but she also hates her daily life challenges on her career, financial issues and family matters that made her lose the smile on her face. She tends to forget her emotions and bury it in her heart. She was always affronted by her own family despite of working hard from day to night for them. Indira has a lot of responsibilities to deal with. She focuses on giving everything for her family and she doesn’t have time for anything. 

Everything changes when she met Rishi Kumar (played by Sumit Vats). Eventually, the two get married. It is now a question of how she can handle her responsibilities to her family and her duties as a wife to Rishi. 

The show had a ratings slump in 2012 and made a time leap.
