Kashmeer serial is set on Chandmarg of Kashmeer, When it was a peaceful and happy town. The story revolves around three friends Dr Ashfaullah Wani , Bansi Lal Khachru and Saiffudin Bhat. Ashfaqullah Wani and Bansi Lal Khachru both are very good friends where Saiffudin Bhat is a friend of Dr Wani and like to keep only talking terms with Bansi Lal as he is Hindu. Wives of them also share the same relationship with each other, when they meet they talk about the city, about the changes, about their children and they are also worried about terrorism which is start hitting Chandmarg. Zoya (Ashfaq’s daughter) wants to be a doctor, Aamir (Saiffudin’s Son) wants to join the Army and Kinshuk (Bansi Lal’s Son) is studying in Us.

The story starts with the three families, friendship and their daily routine, the children of these three families Zoya, Aamir and Kinshuk are good friends, they roam around the city, they tease each other, but the twist comes into the story when Kinshuk and Aamir both fall love with Zoya and Zoya loves Aamir, then misunderstandings comes between friends. Things got worst when Aamir knows that the girl who Kinshuk loves is non-other than is Zoya, the friendship broke between three. In the city also some terrorist activities are going on and later it is shown that Saiffudin Bhat is supporting and helping the terrorists.

Dr Ashfaullah Wani is warned and threatened by terrorist and also said to maintain a distance with Bansi Lal, on the other hand, Bansi Lal was set into a scam and thrown out from the college. The Pain of the families increased more when Aamir got influenced by terrorists and his jealousy and anger towards Kinshuk increased more when he found That Zoya is getting closer to Kinshuk. In between the military forces, action and terrorists encounter shown. Everyone’s life got shattered and they feel so much pain to remember the good days of their friendship.

The Serial was highly acclaimed by the audience, and from the first week to last the shows TRP was very good. But as Kashmeer was based on Terrorism it was called off on the instruction of the Govt.
