Unlike others, this show is more than the usual drama; it is especially informative and entertaining for kids. It is a perfect blend of mythology and comedy. As the story unfolds, we see Guddi(Jaswir Kaur) singing and dancing, offering her prayers to Lord Krishna. While doing so, she places a coconut in front of Lord Krishna's idol. He wakes up, cribbing and blaspheming. Kanhaiya and Guddi have two children, a boy and a girl. He owns a canteen. In strict contrast to his wife, Kanhaiya just doesn't believe in God. When Guddi tells him about their daughter Barfi's wish to pursue engineering which requires 80,000 rupees as fees, Kanhaiya gets worried. He tries his best but fails to arrange the money, and the submission date is close. Having no other option, Kanhaiya steals 50,000 from a temple that his family visits regularly. Knowing that it is wrong, he defends his action by convincing himself that it is like taking a loan from the bank they often deposit in. As soon as he returns home, he sees Lord Krishna. He blinks his eyes and realizes that it's just his father standing there. When questioned about where he was at that hour of the night, he replies saying that he was at a friend's place, taking a loan of 50,000 for Barfi's education.

Later, he starts getting texts from an unknown number mentioning the stealing. He gets tensed as nobody knew about this action of his. In some time, the unknown person asks Kanhaiya to meet him. On meeting him, Kanhaiya realizes that it is none other than Lord Krishna himself. Initially, he thinks that it's some illusion, but soon he is convinced. As the story progresses, we see how Kanhaiya's views and perceptions on life change with the presence of Lord Krishna, with loads of humour and entertainment.
