Mera Nikhattu is a surprising yet romantic story between two people coming from two different worlds. Titu,belonged to a very wealthy family and was born after 18 years of continuous prayers and wishes of his mother,Surekha and his father,Govindanarayan but like other families ,he was too pampered by his mother and as the consequence ,he turns out to be a very fondle boy.

He was almost at his working age but still was spoon-feeded by his dear mother,Surekha and his father being helpless couldn't draw his own son out of laziness because of his wife's too much love and affection. Titu being a very dull boy,with the help of his friends and family arranges a magic show at Mathura where an elegant girl,Panchi gets attracted to him because of the misconception of having been saved from a fiery bull. Panchi was also of the same age and belonged to a middle class family and was very fanciful since childhood. Panchi was fond of romantic movies and she always wanted to be loved by someone special in the most romantic way.

After that event Panchi got preoccupied by thoughts of Titu as her HERO.The show gets more interesting when because of this misconception Panchi being an all-rounder girl falls in love with this handsome yet idle boy.Panchi's dreams of Titu was about to turn into reality when due to a conspiracy against Titu by his cousin,Mukund,they had to leave for Agra where Panchi falls in love with Titu assuming the same from him but later on finds out that Titu likes her friend,Ruhi which leaves her heartbroken and all her hopes and dreams turns down to ash.

On the other hand Titu was also heartbroken because Ruhi denied him. So after few events the most turning moment takes place when Panchi's marriage gets fixed with Titu.Panchi still thinking Titu as her beloved hero,gets shattered when she sees him drown in idleness but then Titu's father promises to help Panchi in turning Titu to a hard-working and employed boy.Finally after lots of effort being put by Panchi and facing opposition from her mother-in-law, Surekha ,Titu realises his love for Panchi and decides to work harder for his family.
