It was basically a celebrity talk show wherein a number of celebrities took part in the talk show. That was first of its kind in Indian television world. Shekhar Suman marked the beginning of the era of stand-up comedy with this show and also gained a lot of popularity for this. There were about 500 celebrities who took part in the talk show.

A new season of Movers and Shakers was aired on SAB TV from March 12, 2012, till June 22, 2013. The show did a total of 76 episodes, which also saw a lot of changes within this time. Initially, it was started by Runway Productions and then because of low TRP’s was taken over by Optimystix and the name was also changed to Movers and Shakers Masala Markey. There was a lot of timing slot issues as well because, despite all the efforts, the show could not take off. 

Movers and Shakers Masala Markey was basically a talk show, wherein a known celebrity from all the fields possible like television, movie, sports and etc were called. Prior to the actual talk, Shekhar Suman entertained his viewers with his face humour, personal jokes and satire. Even the celebrities that were called were asked personal and spicy questions which created a situational humour. There was a bit of music and comic role plays installed within the talk show.
