Mrs. and Mr. Sharma Allahabadwale is an Indian television series which was launched by SAB TV. The concept of this show includes a small town middle-class family with their day to day struggles. A total number of one hundred and forty eight episodes have been produced in this series. The story of this series is based on the two characters as mentioned in the title of the show. The backdrop of Allahabad has opted for the place where this small family lives.

The wife, in this story is exactly how a small town Indian housewife is. She had never seen the likes of a big city and has the utmost faith in her husband. The story begins where Mr. Sharma receives a promotion in his job, and with the prospect of a better tomorrow, he humbly takes the promotion. The promotion, however, is a transfer of Mr. Sharma from Allahabad to Mumbai. Thus, the comic situation that unfolds when the Sharma family reaches Mumbai forms the base of the storyline of this series.
