Naaginn is one more daily soap series with 219 episodes and special visual effects. Its first episode was aired on October 11th of 2007 and it last till April 11th of 2009. The show was aired on Zee TV and is also getting nominated for the Indian Telly Award for Best Child Actress, Indian Telly Award for Best Special or Visual Effects for television. Though Naaginn 2 is also made, but both the producers (AK Films) and Zee TV decided to air this series sometimes later.
The plot of the show is about a snake named Amrita who has the powers to take any form of its wish. Her parent gets killed by the Singh family for the Naagmani and so transforms herself into beautiful women to take revenge and get back the Naagmani. Once she does get back the gem she can make her parents alive. Amrita gets married to the son of Singh’s family, but could not take revenge as her duties towards her in-laws and love for husband stops her from killing anybody. She faces lots of turmoil and in that she gets pregnant. Now the story takes turn and her husband dies while saving Amrita and his unborn kids.
After giving birth to twins’ daughters even Amrita gets killed and then the story is all about how she turns into a ghost and take care of her daughters. Her daughters are brought up in different families where one is miserably treated and other is taken to a village where even her new mother dies. At the end of Season 1 one of Amrita’s killer trap Amrita’s ghost and the serial ends.
