This serial ran 26 episodes each for 30 minutes. Krishnakant Trivedi is a retired professor. He lives with his wife shared in the suburban area of Mumbai. Somnath works in their house. Their children have settled abroad.

The old couple always wants to hear from their children, but they don’t turn up. To pass their time and to have social interaction, the couple decides to start a paying guest in their house. Each episode deals with the stories of the paying guest. Through this serial, the team is trying to convey the difficulties of the middle-class people. Every paying guest who comes to Trivedi’s house has heart touching backgrounds. The first episode deals with two lovers who come as paying guests. Their parents did not agree to their marriage because of the difference in the status.

Later, the old couples get to know they are young unmarried couples. So the guy questions Trivedi is it wrong if poor people fall in love? Is it a crime? This makes the viewers question themselves. The second episode deals with unity in diversities. The third episode teaches us that a person who believes he can fool the world, he turns out to be the biggest fool. We need to lead an honest life. Other lessons like those who try to find success by stepping on others will never be successful in life; a man must take up the responsibilities of his house and family by working hard to sustain the happiness of the family, taking care of parents in their old age and much more.
