Radhaa Ki Betiyaan or RKB for short was an Indian soap opera. It was a very good series for the series lovers. It was a must watch for the woman’s who are alone and it worked as a prescription for them. The show was very uncommon from the usual Hindi drama which always puts in a familiar mother-in-law and daughter-in-law saga. But this show was very different from the rest. It focused on a mother and her daughters. The mother was the lead in the story and she was a very proud mother.

She instilled good values in her children and always believed her children’s were on the right track. She always believed their potential and she knew they wanted to achieve excellence, not success. She supported them in everything. The show highlighted the precious bonding and the relation which a mother and her three daughters enjoyed. But as the show moved on Radhaa and her daughter were forced to leave their homeland due to some extreme problems. They were forced to travel to Mumbai from Meerut.

The three daughters were all different according to their nature and dreams but Radhaa always managed to cope up with them. The eldest daughter Rohini was a designer and was very emotional. She was a woman with sheer self-respect and responsibility but she was also short-tempered. The 2nd daughter Ragini was a fun loving girl. She always used to play pranks and used to crack jokes and she had ambition to be a model. Ruchi the youngest one was the favourite of all and she wanted to become an astrologer for fulfilling her father’s dream.

After they came to Mumbai, they understood that life in Mumbai was not as easy as they thought and they had to cope up with the routine bound work. But they didn’t get disheartened and they gathered courage to fight against these complications. They took life as a new challenge and faced all the difficulties and faced them with a good attitude. It’s a good series for women and their dreams. The series casts always thought that they will have a better tomorrow if they work hard that day.

The series went on with their daily struggles but the daughters found love. Rohini loved married Dr. Shekhar but was unable to express. Ragini loved Nikhil and Ruchi loved Adi. And their mother Radhaa started fighting against the odds to ensure a better future for her children’s.

After some interesting turn of event's Rohini was married to Dr. Shekhar. Ragini was selected as a model and she had an affair with Nikhil. Ruchi also loved Adi and decided to marry him. Ruchi went to Nasa for her further studies.

The show premiered on the 21st of January on 2008 and ended after completing 224 episodes on February 12, 2009. The show was aired once a week firstly but then it was made a Monday-Thursday soap opera due to Public Demand. The show was aired on NDTV Imagine.
