Saas Bina Sasural was created by Optimystix Entertainment and had hit the Indian televisions on 18th October 2010 via Sony Entertainment Television India and was greatly appreciated by the comedy and Drama lovers. The last episode of the serial was aired on 6th September 2010. The serial was awarded the best fiction series in the year 2011. The Saas Bina Sasural serial had a very interesting story plot wherein Taanya also known as Toasty, falls in love with a person named Tej who comes from a family where there are seven males but no female at all. Seven males belong to three generation and basically, hate female class. Somehow, they all agree for the marriage of Tej and Toasty.

Toasty soon realises that she has to play the role of warden for all seven men of the house. Toasty accepts the family whole heartedly and tries to solve out problems of each and every member of the family. She learns that Tej’s Elder brother’s wife was mis-guided by her mother and that is why she left the house. She tries to solve out problems between Pashu and Maalti, Tej’s Elder brother and Tej’s sister in law. Toasty also helps in the marriage of one of her friend Nitika and Tej’s second elder brother Ved.

Tej and Pashu fights over the family business and Tej moves out of the business to forms a business of his own. He succeeds in this process but somehow the family is also cheated by a greedy person and the family starts facing a lot of financial issues. All the men moves out in search of some service, but after some time the problem resolves and the family’s financial condition stabilises once again. All the Saas Bina Sasural episodes were immensely popular with the audience, because of its relatable story line and talented cast. Among all the Saas Bina Sasural episodes, Saas Bina Sasural episode 1, episode 2, episode 30 and episode 150 are the most famous till date.

At the end, Toasty gets to know that she has the brain tumour and thus she starts moving away from everyone’s lives. She tries to replace herself with one of her childhood friend Smiley. When the problem aggravates, she leaves the house and informs all the members, via her mother that she is dead because of the brain tumour. The family goes in vein but Smiley handles the family nicely. Smiley and Tej decide to get married to each other as Toasty wanted it but somehow Tej gets to know that Toasty is alive. Smiley and Tej searches for Toasty and they find her. They promised her the best treatment of the world and Tej and Toasty marries once again.
