This series consisted of two seasons. The first season has been aired between January 14, 2013, and September 12, 2013.

‘Sanskaar- Dharohar Apnon Ki season 1’ dealt with a guy named Jai Kishan Vaishnav who belonged to a large family from Keshavgarh in Gujarat. Due to certain circumstances their family loses their textile mill and to fulfil his late grandfather’s dream, Jai goes abroad for higher education and there he meets a girl named Bhoomi Click to look into! >> Read More... and eventually starts loving her. He returns to India along with Bhoomi. With the help of Bhoomi, Jai and his family get their textile mill back.

Following the events of the earlier season, the second season of this serial started on a colourful note with the members of the Vaishnav family celebrating Navratri and Bhoomi helping all the family members. All the family members dance, all of a sudden Bhoomi faints and falls down. Later, it is found that Bhoomi and Jai are expecting their child. These sweet moments were only with them for a short period. Bhoomi dies in an accident while crossing the road. The entire family get devastated and they feel that Bhoomi’s place in the family will always remain empty. Jai gets completely depressed and the only person who can comfort him is Aarvi. Soon Aarvi is kidnapped by some goons and both Jai and Dilip go in search of her. They reach a fair in quest of Aarvi. There Jai confronts a girl named Dhara who loses a bet because of Jai. She tells Jai that her name is Dhara which means Bhoomi. Listening the word ‘Bhoomi’ Jai becomes sad. Somehow with Dhara’s help they find Aarvi. Things start changing in Vaishnav family when Dhara enters their life. The rest of the story is about how Dhara marries Jai and becomes the most lovable person in their family.

The second season of this series aired between October 7,2013 April 30, 2014. The theme music for this series has been composed by the well know music directors Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy.
