Thoda Hai Bas Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai was an Indian TV series based on the life of a middle-income family and their struggles. A middle-income family usually has a little but they want a bit more than that and thus the name of the show was developed. It was the story of a Maharashtrian middle-class family and their daily struggles. It was a collective family. They lived in Mumbai but they remained untouched to the fact that they were living in a big city and hence they decided to live modestly. It was a city where anybody had to either survive or die. But they were in between the two processes. They were not very wealthy but they were wealthy in terms of their morals and values. Basically, it was a family show.

The show was based on the Kulkarni family. The lead of the family was two old aged people named Ramakant and Sulekha. They resided with their children’s. They had three children’s who were called Nishikant, Shreekant and Akshata. The backbone of the house was Mugdha kulkarni, who was the daughter-in-law of the house and was married to Shreekant. The story took an interesting turn when the younger son named Nishikant was married to a girl named Pragya. Their house was not compatible for the joint family. On the other hand, Pragya was also not like Mugdha and she was a complete different character. It seemed that the Joint family was going to break but Mugdha managed to maintain the bonding of the family. She kept the unity of the family with the help of her mother-in-law. The show was the real story of a middle-income family and what every middle-income family goes through. The show had its root in the real life also.

As the show went on, Pragya played dirty tricks and soon Mugdha was stripped off the house and Pragya started playing politics in the house. Then Nishikant was promoted in his office. Mugdha proved her innocence and came back to the house. Then soon everybody realised Pragya’s evil nature and soon she was thrown out of the house. Nishikant then loved a girl who was named Devki. Thus the story went on through ultimate struggles.

Akshata fell in love with Sambhav. Then Nahar got introduced who was the brother of Sambhav but nobody knew it except Mugdha who later knew it. Nahar tried to rape Mugdha and she forced a girl named Sanjana. Sanjana was then married off to a new character named Giri. Mugdha wanted to file a case against Nahar but she didn’t do it because Akshata loved the brother of Nahar, Sambhav. Thus their struggles increased.

The show ended with Sanjana filing a case against Nahar. Akshata was dead. Sambhav was the reason behind Akshata’s death. Nahar and Sambhav were sent to jail. Nishikant married Devki. And it ended happily as Mugdha and Shreekant united.
