The style of cuisine is not restricted, and the contestants are allowed to create dish however they want, but they primary ingredient must be the lentil they’ve chosen. The show incorporates further twists where the contestants play a game, and the winner of the game gets an advantage. Often, the advantage means an extra ingredient or extra time.

The contestants have limited time after which their dish is judged. The show does not have a set judge and calls guest judges in each episode.
