Back in 2009, when DevD came into cinemas, nothing but “Emosanal Aatyachar” was in the air. The song had an insane everlasting effect on the mass. Keeping that fact in view, UTV network came up with the idea of a reality show where a guy or girl can check his/her partner’s loyalty in the relationship. The show is based on real events where a tiff between the lead and suspect is portrayed by actors. Emotional Atyachaar derived inspiration from the American Television Series, currently presented by Clark James Gable, named ‘Cheaters’.

Season 5 of the TV show was first aired on 27th March, 2015 in UTV Bindass channel and two months after, the videos got uploaded in the official YouTube channel.

The 60 minutes long episode aims at giving a gist of the story between the couple, followed by a brief representation of what was done such that the suspect was proven guilty. It has been five seasons that Bindass Emotional Atyachaar has brought before the viewers, the realities of relationships about how a girl or boy could be cheated upon by their partners. But according to Pravesh Rana, “No matter what so ever one does, the cheaters keep getting smarter every time”. “They (the cheaters) try every possible means to not get caught”, adds Rana.

“Ab Tehqiqaat Yaaron Ke Saath” goes the tagline of Season 5 which roughly translates to “Investigation now with friends”. The fifth season contained 23 episodes featuring different artists as per the need in the story. In spite of all the 23 stories being different having occurred with different individuals, one thing that remained same is the ‘result’. All the tricksters ultimately were caught at the end of every episode. The show basically intends to alert the viewers about these swindlers around.
