Koffee with Karan is a premium television talk show for big celebrities. The host is the gregarious film director and producer ‘
Karan Johar’. The show had been aired on Star World from the beginning and has always achieved to mark up great TRPs because of the candidness of the show’s content. The first season commenced in 2004 and stole the position of the most viewed show on the channel. After the huge success of the first season, the next season came on air on 11 February 2007. The show is known in the circuit to be one of the most glamorized talk shows in the country, and it claims its viewers with a line of big stars who come to the show, and the itty-bitty controversies Karan tries to incite when talking to his guests.
The format of the show isn’t much unique, but its delivery and presentation are extraordinary. The famous Lie-O-Meter is back this season as well. The much exciting and enthralling rapid fire round that Karan plays at the end of the show with the guests takes away the highlight moments of the show, especially, when the winner receives the Koffee Hamper.

In this season, the format of the show saw an extra addition. At the end of the season, one more episode was introduced. This episode features the most memorable minutes and moments of the season, and it was called Koffee Awards. Exactly like the acclaimed Award shows, this presentation also included award categories like best performance, lifetime achievement, best supporting appearance, and much more.
