Bhale Basava is a comedy show which came on the channel Zee Kannada. The show is a Kannada language one which came on every weekday between Monday and Friday in the slot between 8:00 PM and 8:30 PM. It is a comedy mini-series which created for only sixty-five episodes. The direction of the series got entrusted to Pawan while the both the screenplay and the dialogues have gotten penned by M.S. Narasimha Murthy. The series produced by the house of Final Cut Productions which got launched by Sihi Kahi Chandru.

When it comes to comedy, there are few who do not know his name in the Kannada television and film industry. The house has produced numerous popular series which have captured the audience’s hearts and minds. The story of Bhale Basava revolves around the life of a middle-class family and its members and their ancient garment factory cum office. The garment factory got designed to manufacture old kind of clothing. The office has various kinds of employees who belong to various socio-economic backgrounds. However, they all are bound by a common dream of leading a better lifestyle.

The series explores some very familiar struggles including those of the aspirations of middle-class families especially with a lot of dependents. It explores what happens when the earning members of the family try hard to make their ends meet, how the events occurring around them affect their lives and how they tackle these scenarios. The episodes get narrated Basava’s perspective, and he is an ardent devotee of Lord Anjaneya. The deity appears only in front of him upon praying.

Bhale Basava got designed as a mini-series with one single story which got spread across the sixty-five episodes. It features some great actors who make the viewers roll about laughing with their antics and the tricky situations they’re in. This includes Satishchandra playing the role of Hanumantha, Rajesh Dolly playing the role of the boss, Venkatachala playing the role of Shambi and Rajeshwari playing the role of the receptionist. They are supported by Assha playing the role of Pushpa, Ajith playing the role of the cashier Nagaraj, Pawan playing the role of Vishakanta, and Kishore playing the role of Isha. Accompanying them are Padma playing the role of Gande, Varsha playing the role of Girija, Sumathi playing the role of Gowri, and Shobaraj in the lead role of Bhale Basava.
