Dream Star was a yearlong project of the Innovative Film Academy, India. It was a reality Talent Television show which would feature highly energetic performers such as dancers, mimicry artists, singers, and magicians from all age groups. The tagline of the drama has ‘where dreams come true’. It has a theme that gives silver screen opportunities to the talented guns to showcase their talents. The candidates were to be given accommodation and food after their successful completion of the initial trials. They would be trained and constantly monitored by the Academy itself.
Many leading experts such as Ananth Vaithiyanathan for singing practice, Johnny Britton for Dance, Alexis as well as Karthick for Mimicry, and Guinness Record Holder Jacob for Magic. The winners in each category would be hired and gave an opportunity to become a member of the Production Film. It had been carried on for many seasons amidst the presence of famous celebrities like
Sudha Chandran, Hema Malini, and Mr Nandish. The organizers have decided to take the event into other channels such as the Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, Bengali, Tulu, Oriya, Punjabi, Gujarati, Assamese, and Kannada. The production was fully funded for the social cause. Many celebrities were set to feature, but the panel of judges has not disclosed yet. The Concepts has been made by the contestants.
The grooming part of it was done by the Producers and the Mentors. This drama was the most watched television reality in the Kerala region when that had been broadcasted by Asianet Suvarna. Many under-privileged people had used this platform to grow. Some had got the opportunity in the Giant Screens with the top Directors, and Actors in the country. One of the most watched episodes on the internet has been a poor man finding hard to get him accommodated at the city life. The script writer has been appreciated in this regard. There had been no person in the locality to talk to him. There had been no help in case he had needed any assistance.
Finally, he had wished to change the society around him. He worked hard, but his efforts were like watering the desert. The rest of the scenes were kept because suspense to make the audience know whether he had succeeded in it as well as what were the attempt made by him.
