It has got scientific traces attached to it in the context of the family system. The story of the show depicts the relationship among the daughter in law and mother in law in Indian society. The daily soap shows the pain of a mother getting away from the son after he gets marries. And on the other hand the sacrifices of a daughter in law and her complaints against her mother in law. The show starts with negativity between the daughter in law and her mother in law. Both have their arguments against each other. Late on in the episodes, both the mother in law and her daughter in law get admission into different training schools. These training schools teach them how to gain control on the other. The serial continues with the so-called battle among the two. Later on in the show both; the daughter in law and mother in law understand each other’s importance in their lives.

They understand the value of support system and, role playing. Finally, the grandmother holds all the members together to run the family and to maintain unity. The show has gained a huge amount of popularity among the Kannada audience. But the show also got into controversy for its portrayal of the relationship between the mother in law and daughter in law. Many women organizations opposed and questioned the theme of the show. Later on, the director Phani Ramachandra explained to them about his study on the family system and, how he will bring peace, harmony, and freedom of speech on his show. The daily soap truly showed the picture of an older system of family, its evolution and eroding of unacceptable issues.
