Paarijatha is aired on Suvarna TV from Monday to Friday at 6 pm. Paarijatha is the story of twin sisters Arundhati and Aarti. Both of them have extremely different characters and have different thinking about the life. They hail from a middle class family. Arundhati is a simple, down to earth and soft spoken girl and also having shy nature. But Aarti is bold, daring and modern. She is having an outgoing character. Also, Aarti is more educated than Arundhati. Arundhati dreams to have a simple married life. She wants to have a good husband with pleasant personality. But her sister Aarti wants to get married to someone who is rich and can provide her a luxurious life with all riches. The story is like Hindi films Seeta aur Geeta, Chaalbaaz with the female twins lead playing roles. Also in Kannada Rani-Maharani is based on same story line.
