Ganamela is a music show telecasted on Kairali channel. This was the program that gave the singers to show their talent and bring themselves up and get some chance to sing in Malayalam movies or music videos. Some of the singers also sang for the title song for the serials. The show would give the participants to sing a song. There were different round with many eliminations in each round. They were competing for a place in the finals of the show and win the title. They were judged by singing greats and also was had public view through SMS. This was a life changer for many singers who were not able to show their skills. There were many singers from this show who are presently singers of many movies and music videos. They say if you had a dream work on that dream very hard you will succeed.
This show was the helping hand for those who had a dream of becoming a singer. Many singers all over Kerala had a chance to sing a song in this show. They were first auditioned from different parts of the state and were short listed by their voice and skill to sing. Many of them also were disappointed as they could not make it to the show. Then many shows were started to find out talent. They then started shows for Dancing, Acting which was also a hit among the people. Many of them with different talent entered into their profession through these programs. Some of them are in movies and some are in serials due to the shows conducted by different channels.
