Music India has been the newly born infant show in the history of the Malayalam World. The serial had much more competitors from different channels across the State. It has retained the traditional outlook that it had formatted in an equivalent way as that of the other related musicals. Two sorts of function had carried by the Channel. One was telecasting the film songs and performing the interviews with the lead artists as well as organise certain events for the promotion of pictures.
The second job was to bring out the new talents and non-popular singers who had released their albums on the social networking sites such as YouTube, Wap Trick, etc. Separate segments had allocated so that there might be an equivalent participation. These continue for five days from Monday to Friday. Saturday and Sunday were the two days where there would be a complete change in the schedule of the program. Some new series has added to get away from the monotonous style of work.
It is quite distinct from rivalries in the sense that it had been broadcasting the hits of the South Indian works including the Kollywood (Tamil Nadu or Former Madras), Tollywood (Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Rayalaseema), Mollywood (Kerala), and Sandalwood (Karnataka).
