Swapnakoodu is an architectural television show in Malayalam language which airs on one of the leading and popular Malayalam entertainment television channel Amrita TV every Saturday from 12:30 pm onwards in the afternoon as per Indian Standard time (IST). This show can also be termed as an audio visual architectural manual where the viewers are given a taste along with lots of information and takes the viewers through the beautiful and scenic landscapes of dream dwellings and the show also explores various posh dwelling options such as a townhome, a house, an apartment, studio, mansion or a bungalow of differsnt sizes, structures , locations and of various budgest from low budget to high to very high budget.

The show Swapnakoodu is divide into few segments. In the first segment the audiences are introduced to a single exclusive residence which may fall into any categories and budget mentioned above and which will be in market soon. The residence is presented from the owner’s perspective and also from the point of view of the residence’s lead architect. In the next few segments of the show Swapnakoodu-The construction news, the architectd discusses the basic structures, features, facilities and other knitty gritties of the residence and the anchor of the show takes the viewers on a virtual tour showing them the various portions of the residence and talks with the landlord or the current owner about the masterplan of the same. Swapnakoodu offers an array of options in terms of plans, designs and layouts, a bounty of alternatives in color schemes, floorings, fittings and furnishings that suit the budget of the client and conform to the concepts of some who have attained their dream home but are embarking on modifications and for those whose hunt for their dream house is still on.
