Radhika Kalyanam is a Kannada TV serial which airs on Zee Kannada. It has aired 951 episodes. It used to be aired from Monday to Friday, on prime time television. It has a runtime of twenty minutes. The plot is about a woman who dream of having a wedding which everybody would remember of years. It is everybody’s desire to be married in this fashion. But it not in everyone's destiny to have the same fate. It is very rare that someone realises his dreams through destiny.

We are often led to believe that we are destined to achieve big things, but honestly, how many of us claim our destiny? Not many I guess. Radha Kalyanam, is a show about when you really believe in something, your stars will align and you will realise your destiny. Dreams are not always met. Like how many girls dream to have a perfect marriage but dreams happen in an imaginary world, but in reality the laws of physics prevail and reality strikes you hard.

The story takes place in Madhurapura, a small place near Mysore. Radhika is a sweet and innocent girl who always listens to her parents. She always listens to her parents and doesn't go against their wishes. Devaki and Poornachandra Shastry. When she was an infant, somebody has abandoned her in front of the temple, which at the time was managed by Poornachandra Shastry. He also has a biological daughter, Vishaka.

She is a hard worker and wants to be an actress I'm the Kannada film industry. Unlike Radhika, she is a rebel who doesn't care about what other people talk behind her back. She is ready to fight for what she thinks is right. Subhadramma is their grandmother. She always showers love on Vishaka whereas she dislikes Radhika. She can't believe that someone like her is staying in their house. She always tries to find reasons for harassing her.

The Bharadwajas are the biggest names in the small town of Madhurapura. Jaganatha Bharadwaja is a head of powerful business and is the leader of the family. Under his guidance, his family has managed to maintain their culture and values, amidst the technological change sweeping over the state. After decades, he has come back to this town in search for a suitable heir for his wealth.
