En Desam En Makkal is a show on social topics which is aired on Every Monday 10 am. It is a one hour show and Gopinath Chandran being the host. The promo music of the show is done by Anil Nc. It is a show that discusses the social evils with people's participation and analyses from everyone's views. Every day an issue is chosen and all sides of the issue are explored. The first step is to call someone on stage and asked the issue related to the topic chosen the day. After that host comes down the stage and there will be a number of the audience sitting and asking each and everyone the issue they face related to the topic. The people working on the social evils to bring solutions to these social evils and working class people are mostly featured in this show.

The topics discussed in shows are mainly like Dowry, Alcoholism, Untouchability, Women issues, Healthcare and much more. The issues Related to the show are screened by officials and the main officials will explain the ways to eradicate these problems from society. Also, a fact and figures related to the growth of issue evolving from past years are shown on the screen and evaluated too. Gobinath Chandran is from pudupettai in Tamil Nadu. He is active in the industry from 1998. He is a VJ as well as a journalist, newsreader, and author. He became one of the famous hosts in TV through a show called Neeya Naana. He started his career as Vj with Raj television in 2002 and also did reporting works for Jaya Tv, CNBC, and NDTV.
