Thrivalur Thirumathi is a show where any married couples can participate, and there are different rounds. First Round people get to choose what to dance or any other activities.

There are activities like acting as other gender and much more. Then there are also rounds such as shopping round where they will have some budget and using that balance they have to buy things avoiding things listed and within a minute. After that, the efficiency is evaluated. Two pair of couples participates and whoever have more efficiency wins. A household item in a covered box can be eliminated from the losing team as well as their prizes which are chosen by winning team.
