Ala Modalaindi is a Telugu daily soap which airs on ETV Telugu. It is a romance-drama. The hero was born in a traditional village family. His parents have orthodox and regressive views. His family decided on his marriage with his cousin when he was a kid. From the time he was a kid, he is made to believe that city women do not have any principles on living, and they are low on morals. Due to their independent and liberal upbringing, they dominate men. Only village women know how to manage a family, be a good wife, and always respect her husband. He accepted this view and grew up.

On the other side of the story, the heroine was born and brought up living in a city. She is raised alone by her mother. The girl’s father abandoned her mother when she was very young. So, she hates men. She believes no men can be trusted and they always end up cheating. Later, the boy has to move out of the village into a city to get a job and earn money. Events unfold and both meet each other. Fate brings these two different personalities together. Despite their opposite views, they fall in love with each other.
