Devatha serial was directed by S.Kumaran and produced by Vikatan Televisions Pvt. Ltd., Chennai.

Krishna Koushik, Gayathri, Bangalore Padma Bangalore padma is a Telugu actress. She is famous >> Read More... , Suthivelu, Pushpalatha, Vijayadhav, etc. have acted in this serial.

Devatha serial is about a person named Gopi who gets married to a girl named Archana. Gopi is a mechanic but his step mother fakes him as a Mechanical engineer and gets him married to Archana. His step mother treats him and his wife in bad manner and because of her Archana looses her pregnancy.

So, Gopi lefts his home and starts to live separately from his parents in a slum area. With his hard work and good nature he grows to a rich and respectable person in the society. He now lives in a palatial house in a posh area. But he still faces problems from his parents, siblings and his in-laws side too.

Subsequently, the theme of the story revolves around how the couple faces the challenges and the odds of the life in order to live happily with their togetherness. It is a tribute to the sanctimonious institution of marriage.

Since, the screenplay and storyline of this serial were best supported by utmost acting skills of the actors, it was successfully telecasted for about 4 to 5 years and has completed 1142 episodes.
