Geetha Govindam serial is a romantic drama, which revolves around two characters Geetha and Govind. Geetha is a middle-class, open-minded girl who believes in love and real relationships. Govind, on the other hand, is against relationships and thinks wealth is the most crucial factor in life. Govind is the son of a wealthy businessman. Govind hates women because of his sad past life. Govind misunderstood Geetha for insulting his father and decides to take revenge on her and he marries her on pretenses.

Govind's mother is rigorous and attempts to transform her daughter in law into an obedient girl. Geetha's father gets arrested and so she blames Govind and files for divorce. Geetha is ordered by the court to stay with Govind for six months to get a divorce. Soon, Geetha understood that Govind is the right person. Geetha finds out that Govind is in love with a girl, but their breakup made him a bad man. When Geetha gets into trouble, Govind saves her in every situation. Finally, Geetha and Govind fall in love with each other and cancel divorce.
