Kutumba Gauravam (Family Virtues) is a Telugu afternoon Soap Opera drama dubbed from Hindi version, Maryada...Lekin Kab Tak? (Keeping our limits...but until when?) which was broadcasted on Star Plus. Kutumba gauravam is aired on Maa Gold from Monday to Friday at 2:00 PM from 8th April 2013. The story revolves around 3 women- Priya, Uttara, and Devyani, who are deceived, molested and castoff by one man, Brahma, who is the DIG of police. This story pictured well to exemplify about such acts towards some women in real life.
The screenplay was worthy to keep viewers anticipated about the upcoming episodes. The story line is well narrated through the empathizing performance of the actors. It is not only a reflection to the things happening in the world, but also inspires many women who get in such situations to gather up their courage and know that there are ways to get over such situations. The women in this serial are projected to propagate that being fragile, sensitive, tantalizing, weakling species who can be put to remain helpless under man’s commands is not the only option in their lives. The female protagonist Priya’s role has been a figure of bravery, courage and spontaneity, inspiring many woman to learn about their hidden aura.
