Super Singer 7 is a Telugu singing reality show airing on the channel Maa TV every Wednesday from 9 pm to 10 pm. The show is sponsored and launched by Bharti Airtel on 25th June 2012. The show was released on 27 June 2012. In this show, various eminent Telugu singers showcase their art of singing. The show is composed of two teams with six singers in each team – first is Warriors Team led by famous singer Sunita and the second is Chargers Team lead by popular singer Kousalya. The show is judged by Chandra Bose, and sometimes, team leads are also involved as the judges of the show.
The show brings new diverse challenges for the contestants where they have to present their singing performances to compete with each other. Each judge gives the contestant a score out of 100 for his/her performance. Therefore, the total score is out of 300. The contestant who gets the least score gets eliminated from the show. The contestants tried their best to compete with each to secure the winning position.
