Elementary a crime drama broadcasted by the CBS depicts the modern Sherlock Holmes storyline. It was premiered in the year 2012. It is a Sherlock Holmes and Joan Watson story, a classic duo that fights crime and criminals. This incredible duo together helps NYPD in solving some tough unsolvable cases. Sherlock being a drug addict has been under a rehab, after which his wealthy father forces him to live his worst nightmare i.e. with a normal, sane and sober person ( Ms. Watson). Ms. Watson three years ago lost a patient along with his license to be a surgeon.
He takes this as his only chance of helping humankind. They both help the police department in solving their cases. With the medical background of Joan, Sherlock finds it very helpful in their cases. Sherlock being a sociopath struggle being in public. The ability to deduce certain patterns and find a solution is the strength possessed by him but he lacks the ability to socialize, so someone is needed to keep him grounded. The elementary person for this job is Watson. Together they unravel a whole set of complicated stories that are needed to be solved.
