Rani Ketki Ki Kahanai is an Indian television serial. It aired in the late 90s. The serial premiered on the DD National channel. There are only FOUR episodes of Rani Ketki Ki Kahani. The plot is the love story of Rani Ketki. Rani Ketki is the princess of a vast kingdom. One night, she was roaming in her private garden when a handsome stranger arrived at her doorstep. The maidens of Rani Ketki inquired the stranger. The stranger revealed that he was the prince of the neighboring kingdom, and his name was Udyabhan. He lost his way in the jungle. He requested to let him spend the night in their garden.

Rani allowed him to spend the night there and offered him food and blankets. Rani Ketki and Raja Udyabhan fell in love at first sight. Later that night, Rani returned to the garden to meet the prince. They talked their heart out and confessed their love for each other. In the meantime, the garden guards saw the prince and considered him an intruder. They informed everyone that Rani Ketki ran from the garden to save the situation. Before parting ways, the prince and princess exchanged rings.

Later, the prince returned to his kingdom and told his friend about his love for Rani. He suggested that Raja should tell his father about the affair so that he could send a marriage proposal. Udyabhan’s parents agreed to the marriage and sent their priest to the kingdom of Rani Ketki. When the priest met Rani’s parents, he told them about the love between Ketki and Udyabhan. Ketki’s father misinterpreted the situation and sent the priest to jail. This incident created a like condition between the two kingdoms. Udyabhan’s father sent his troops for war.

In the meantime, Ketki’s father called his spirited Guru for help. The Guru then converted the troops into soil. Looking at the situation, Udyabhan suggested Ketki to elope from their kingdoms, but Ketki refused. Later, the Guru gave a powder to Ketki’s father, which can make a person invisible. Ketki used the powder and left the palace in search of Udyabhan. Her parents tried to search for her but could not find her, so they left the palace and started living in the forest.

Ketki’s friend visited the king and queen and told them about Ketki. Then, the king requested his Guru to search for Ketki, but the Guru could not do such a thing. The Guru turned to Lord Indra for help. Indra finds Ketki. Ketki’s parents agree to the marriage and go to Udhyabhan’s kingdom. Finally, all the misunderstanding clears out, and marriage preparation begins. The priest then decides to take revenge on Ketki’s father, who mistreated him. He learns about a superpower and uses it to take revenge. Ketki requests the priest. Then, finally, Ketki and Udyabhan get married.
