as Saakshi and as her alter-ego Shakira. In this serial, she played the dual roles of Saakshi and Shakira. The promo of the serial highlighted Shakira’s dual personality. In this serial, she was depicted as India’s first female superhero.
In 2007, Soni Singh worked in the TV series 'Shakira: The End of Evil' on Bindaas channel where she played the character of a simple and shy girl 'Saakshi' and her alter-ego 'Shakira', which credited her of being India's first female action hero.
Before making her career on TV, she was a model and had previously done some modeling assignments. Since Soni was a trained dancer and choreographer, she could perfectly match the role of Shakira given her agility. The creative director of UTV Bindaas, Shakeel, directed this serial.
The cinematography was done by Akshay. Anirban and Bodhisattva handled the post production work (which included the VFX- visual effect). Shakira looked almost like a Bond girl with her heavy makeup and costumes. She resembled Super Woman with her personality and tried to end the evil in the world.
