It deeply explores their love, brave sacrifices, and separations, all for the sake of humanity. 

After the Mahapralay (Earth destruction), Mahadev saves a part of the Earth, Kashi. He calls his wife, Shakti, to reconstruct the world and humanity. They also talked about doing it for many eras (Yugas). Hence, they create Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu. Lord Shiva explains to them that Lord Brahma will become the creator, Lord Vishnu will manage, and Lord Shiva will work as a destroyer. The Goddess then introduces them to their prospective wives. Goddess Saraswati will become the wife of Lord Brahma and Goddess Lakshmi, the wife of Lord Vishnu. She explains to them that their wives will help them in their work. After that, all of them disappear to carry on with their tasks. Now, it is time for the separation of Mahadev and Parvati. They have to separate for the Goddess to be reborn to help humanity. Lord Shiva returns to Kailash Parvat after her departure.

Many decades have passed. King Daksha, son of Lord Brahma, announces the marriage of his daughters. He also invites Lord Shiva for the same, but the latter refuses to go anywhere without purpose. Lord Brahma arrives at the wedding, flaunting his extra head. This head was the symbol of his arrogance. He started belittling everyone because he had created the world. After some twists and turns, Lord Shiva cut off the extra head of Brahma, relieving him of his arrogance. However, he also cursed him not to be worshipped ever. Although Brahma accepts his punishment and asks for forgiveness from everyone, this does not sit well with Daksha. He started considering Lord Shiva enemy and set out to destroy him. 

Since no one can worship his father due to the curse, Daksha forbids everyone in his kingdom from worshipping Lord Shiva. He also prayed to Goddess Shakti day and night and requests her to be born as his daughter. The Goddess informs him that since she is Shiva’s Shakti, she cannot remain separated from him. She also warned Daksha not to cross his limit if he do not want to face the dire consequences. He appears to understand everything, but this is a part of his elaborate revenge plan. As per the boon, Daksha became a proud father of a baby girl and named her Sati. He started instigating her against Lord Shiva and wanted her to become a devotee of Lord Vishnu. From here on, the epic love story of Shiv and Shakti starts, making the viewers mesmerized by the brave, loyal, and selfless love of the duo.
