Vardaat is a TV show aired on Aaj Tak. A complete package of crime stories, this show is broadcasted on five days that is from Monday to Friday at 11 pm. Having a runtime of half an hour, this short mainly targets the Northern part of India. After the success of Jurm, Aaj Tak team introduced this show Vardaat. They said that crime shows are becoming increasingly popular these days and we are launching this show with a motive of creating awareness about the “real” outside world. The program is scheduled in the night slot allowing a huge viewership and is divided into segments where each section handles different crime stories.

Each episode begins with a lead story where the actors represent the genuine people. The re-enact the real-life incident. Special segments are performed of a division.
