The show premiered on November 30, 2008. Three generations of his family have involved in this field. Naresh Bedi and Rajesh Bedi are commonly called as Bedi Brothers. Bedi Brothers travel in a hot air balloon and shoot the wildlife from there. Wild Adventures Ballooning with Bedi Brothers is the 13 episodes long TV show. In the history of Indian television, this is the first show that uses a hot air balloon for wildlife photography.

Bedi Brothers are the youngest Asians who have won the Green Oscar for The Policing Langur, a film made by them. It combines the adventures of flying in a hot air balloon and wildlife photography. This show gives viewers the experience of eagle eye view of the spots. Bedi Brothers first signed for this show without the thought of anything, but they encountered numerous problems during the making of the show. It involves various rules and regulations and they have to get lots of permissions from different agencies, ballooning limitations, etc. It gave a new experience to both the brothers as well as the viewers.

One of the brothers stated that half an hour of this show would benefit the viewers and also added that at the end of each episode, the audience would learn some arts and tricks about wildlife film making.  The cast and crew of this show contain about 18 members, including the pilot. The first episode covers the Gir National Park. The various places telecasted in this show are Velavadar National Park, Little Rann of Kutch, Thorny Jungles of Sariska in Rajasthan, Ramganga river flowing through Sal forests in the Corbett National Park, National Chambal Sanctuary, Darjeeling mist-covered forests, Grasslands of Assam in Probitora sanctuary, etc.,

The show aired Sunday of every week from 11.00 am to 11.30 am. British Balloonist Bill MacKinnon served as the pilot for this show. Bedi brothers shared their experience with this show. They stated that when flying just above the ground level, they could see the earth cracks just floating with us, and the view of barren lands was different from how they look when viewed from the ground. They also added that it was thrilling while shooting in Gir National Park that they heard the sounds of chicken at one place and heard the roars of the lion when moved a little ahead.
