Unlock – The Haunted App is a Hindi web series that can be streamed on ZEE5. The story revolves around an app that grants you your deepest darkest wish in just three tasks. When Suhani realizes that she is going to lose Amar, the love of her life, to her roommate Riddhi, there is practically nothing that she could do to stir things in the right direction. Suhani has been sickeningly obsessed with Amar for some time now, stalking him by installing cameras in his house to observing him so closely as to know by heart his likes and dislikes.
When it seems like there's no other way to set things right, Suhani gets the opportunity to install ‘Friends from the other side’, an app off the dark web that grants one’s darkest desires but on one condition-there are three tasks needed to be done. As soon as she installs the app to access her contacts and details, Suhani's relationship with Amar starts to progress, making it evident that the app is not just like any other regular app, but is also supernatural in nature. A dark hooded entity, engulfed in smoke, starts appearing in places where the app is being used, making sure the tasks are done right.
