What if two individuals shared the same fate, the same palm lineages? Samantar is the story of a young man Kumar Mahajan, whose life changes after he starts his journey to find Sudarshan Chakrapani, who shares the same destiny. The life Kumar lives is the life Chakrapani has already lived. Will Kumar be able to control and change his fate is the one line of this series. Kumar Mahajan is an atheist, but not everything goes well for him. His friend Sharad Wabgaonakr takes him to a Swami who tells him about his past. At first, he feels Sharad must have helped him but later finds out that Swami tells him things that even Sharad does. Kumar decides to take Swami's help, but he disagrees after seeing his palm, as seen earlier, but Kumar denies ever meeting him and abuses Swami.

Kumar finds out that Sudrashan Chakrapani was the one who met Swami many years ago and had the same fortune as him and decides to find him. But Kumar faces obstacles when he tries to find Sudarshan Chakrapani. Our story begins where Kumar Mahajan - a 33-year-old lower middle class. Under the influence of his friend Sharad, Kumar Mahajan decides to find out about his future by visiting an astrologer. Tragedy strikes when he learns that the astrologer had read a similar hand years ago. The astrologer is furious as Kumar doesn't share any other details about his life or future. Soon, a nerve-wracking journey unfolds where Kumar begins his search to find all leads connected to Chakrapani. After a few twists and turns, he finally manages to meet Sudarshan Chakrapani.

The man is amazed to meet someone who has witnessed and lived the same mirrored life as him. Their childhood scars, life tragedies, pain, and agony are a perfect match. After reaffirming all the incidents, Sudarshan Chakrapani gives Kumar a set of journals. He wrote every day of his life in each diary, but he decided to share them with Kumar on one condition. The condition is that Kumar Mahajan should only read one page a day to know his future. Kumar agrees and takes the diaries with him. He now thinks he is on top of the world because Kumar has something he always wanted. Kumar's fate is in his hands. But life has a different plan for Kumar learns that another woman is about to enter his life. The story goes on.
