Sunheri Sham is a Punjabi language live show aired on DD Punjabi on International Senior Citizen Day in 2012. It celebrated the Senior Citizen Day by remembering them and the values and culture they passed on to the newer generations. The show aimed to raise awareness about mistreatment and neglect of senior citizens by their children and families, and to decrease such incidents.Â
