Ravi Krishna is a South Indian actor who predominantly works in Telugu and Tamil film industries. He was the son of the producer, A.M.Rathnam. He has a brother named Jyothi Krishna, who is also a notable director. He completed his schooling in India and went to London to pursue his BA degree in Multimedia. He has a diploma in interactive communication from Pentamedia. Though he has a good film background, he was not interested in entering the film industry, but due to his father's pressure, he was forced to enter into films. So, he took training at a film institute in King's College, London. He made a debut with the movie 7G Rainbow Colony.
