Dulhan is a Pakistani thriller romantic TV serial that aired on HUM TV in 2020. This serial deals with a serious issue of obsession and revenge. Amal is a sweet young girl who works as a salesgirl at a boutique. She lives with her family and is adored by her father. However, her mother is not her real mother and is not a good person either. Mikaal is a handsome and wealthy man and Amal meets him in the college campus. Mikaal proposes to her about his feelings but she denies saying that her mother will not approve. Mikaal meets her parents and gets their approval. Amal and Mikaal get married and on their wedding night, a shocking truth is revealed to her when Shahmeer enters the room instead of Mikaal.

He tells her the whole truth that winning over her was just a bet that was made between Mikaal and Shameer, the two brothers. Shahmeer tries to sexually assault her but she flees from the place. Later on in the story, Shahmeer is seen plotting to make Amal’s life a living hell for rejecting him. He goes to any lengths to create problems for her and even tries to kidnap her. Mikaal on the other hand realizes his wrongdoings and regrets hurting a sweet person like Amal. He tries to protect her from his evil brother and helps her in her life.
