The plot of the serial revolves around Paras, her mother, sister, and Taya. They all live together. Their Taya is very conservative and rigid in personality. Sarmad is Taya's son and does things according to him. The wife of Taya trusts him unquestioningly. Paras's Taya is maulvi, and he doesn't like it if any lady in his house steps outside the house, and they should do pardah.

Paras works in an NGO with Bia, and sometimes, Bia cheers her up when she feels low. Rania and Shahryar are a couple, and Rania is obsessed with him. Later, things turn, and Rania leaves Shahryar and moves on. On the other hand, Bia selects Paras for her brother Shahryar, and later, they get married. At the start of their marriage, Shahryar doesn't like her, but things happen, and slowly, he starts liking her.

Another twist is that Shahryar needs a kidney, and Paras donates her kidney to him. After some time, Rania came into his life, seeing that Paras decided to leave his house. Rania and Shahryar got married. Years later, Shahryar gets to know that he has a daughter, Ajwa, and she lives with his first wife, Paras. He filed the case to take custody of Ajwa. The result goes in his favor because Paras needs a steady income source. Taya also changed his mind after this event and learned that what he did with the ladies of his family was wrong.
