After a successful run, the last episode aired in February 2022. There are reports of a potential second season under development. Set in Rawalpindi and later Karachi, the story follows the kindhearted Parizaad struggling with self-worth and finding his calling while facing judgment from others regarding his skin tone. A diligent student possessing exemplary virtues, he longs for appreciation and love. His greedy brothers mistreat Parizaad as a burden, except his sister Saeeda, who cares for him dearly despite her marriage into a problematic household. An early blow comes when Parizaad is wrongly accused of stalking his crush Naheed, destroying his hopes with her.

Dejected, he agrees to a marriage of convenience to the rebellious tomboy Bubly for her dowry, but she disappears before the wedding. He then develops affection for wealthy girl Lubna, who rejects him and his poetic passion, prioritizing money and status in a partner. As Parizaad journeys to establish himself, he starts working for an influential mafia leader, Behroze Karim. Gaining Behroze’s trust after an honest display of loyalty, Parizaad becomes a bodyguard for his wife Layla but gets manipulated as a pawn in her affair.

When Behroze discovers Layla’s disloyalty and murders the adulterous couple, Parizaad volunteers to take the fall and is jailed while Behroze evades arrest. Before his suicide, grateful Behroze passes on his entire fortune to Parizaad. Newly rich but a prison veteran now, Parizaad returns to see people's perceptions change towards him. His fairweather brothers warm up to bask in his affluence. Lubna attempts reconciliation as her acting career flounders, but Parizaad refuses, spotting her ulterior motives.

He benevolently aids the impoverished Naheed and her family, although her father makes amends for his previous mistreatment of Parizaad. Naheed herself also seems to harbor romantic interest upon seeing his wealth. Finally, Parizaad believes he has found sincere love after meeting radio jockey Annie but remains insecure about his looks as Annie is blind. Heartbroken overhearing Annie’s cousin planning to propose to her after her impending eye surgery, Parizaad nearly resorts to crime but stops himself.

He abandons his wealth once again and finds purpose as a humble schoolteacher, disappearing without a trace. In a lucky twist of fate, Annie crosses paths with her idol Parizaad in his new avatar but fails to recognize him initially. But his iconic voice and touch give away his identity. The two proclaim their mutual affection, with Parizaad finding true love and self-worth by the end.
