Daisy Shah Daisy Shah is from a Gujarati family. Along with acting she even models and choreographs. She is born in 25th August, 1984. Growing up, Daisy had always been known for her good looks. Living in Mumbai all her life, she had even won a contest for ‘Miss photogenic’ in a mall; her father worked at as a floor manager.

Daisy used to be one of the back dancers when spotted by choreographer, Ganesh Acharya. He immediately asked her to join his group. Daisy continued dancing for two years and was soon was asked assist in choreography for movies by Ganesh. She assisted him for a good ten years.

During these years, Daisy made small guest appearances in Kannada, and Tamil films. ‘Bodyguard’ (2011), a Kannada film, was her first debut film, acting as a lead role. The movie was a huge success and Daisy got recognition as an actress as well. Daisy showed off her dancing skills in two item songs for two Kannada movies namely: ‘Bacchan’ and ‘Bloody Ishq’. Daisy was asked to play a role alongside Kareena Kapoor and Salman Kahn for Bollywood’s ‘Bodyguard’ as Kareena Kapoor’s best friend but turned the offer down. She was later asked to play the lead role for ‘Jai ho’ in 2014, alongside Salman Khan which again, was a huge success.

Daisy is also seen playing a rather bold role in the erotic movie, ‘Hate story 3’ (2015), the audience fell in love with Daisy and the movie was a super hit one. Daisy is good friends with the Khan family and is loved by Bollywood and Tollywood. Rumors are she will be busy shooting another movie sometime soon but nothing can be confirmed.
