Managing the production house Studio 9, playing varied roles in movies is all a cake-walk for R. K. Suresh. At 37, a lot has been going on for this talented soul. An Indian by origin, he was a Tamil film producer at first but is now an actor too.

Suresh has a history linkage to the industry as his father was a part of the circuit and has directed movies such as Poo Vaasam, which came out in 1999. It is a belief that the director Samuthirkani told Suresh to join the industry. It is this incident that inspired Suresh to become a part of the industry.

After rejecting a small role in Pudhupettai in 2006, he started a film distribution business and gained accomplishment for Soodhu Kavvum, Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara to name a few. Suresh then signed a movie which had Bala as the director, featured Suresh as the antagonist Karuppaiah. The film received great acclaim. Suresh says that he was waiting for it to happen and wanted Bala sir to launch him. Suresh liked working with ‘Bala sir.’
