The Man Who Knows How To Overcome Dangers

The stunt director is the person who takes charge of the sequences which involve action, stunts specifically. Whenever a film requires a particular stunt shot, they arrange for the casting- stunt performers, body doubles, and the necessary safety equipment. There are times when they choreograph the stunts sequences themselves. They go through the script well, so that they can design a stunt budget, gather all the equipment and propose the stunt to the director.

They regularly deal with a lot of martial arts, gymnastics, acrobatics, rock climbing and many other strenuous and challenging skills. They need to be done with a lot of care, and all the safety precautions need to be kept in mind since the stunts involve a lot of risk and danger. The casting needs to be done keeping the performer’s capability as well as the audience’s acceptance in mind. Proper guidance shall be given to all the casted performers. They supervise the stunt acts that the stunt performers do at the rehearsals and on the sets. The stunt team is present at the time of shoot to take care of any unforeseen problems, and also to make sure that the stunts are being carried out safely and realistically.
