A playback singer and music director from Assam, Mayukh Hazarika was born on 13 January 1971. He attended Kendriya Vidyalaya, Khanapara, and later studied at the University of Delhi. He obtained his post-graduate degree from AJKMCRC, Jamia Millia Islamia University. In 2007, Hazarika joined NDTV Lifestyle as Head of Camera after graduating from IIM. He performed in various concerts around the world. Hazarika lives with his daughter and wife in Mumbai. Laili Dutta Hazarika is his wife, and he shared the stage with his mother, Manisha Hazarika, and wife Laili many times. Bharti Airtel promoted his album 'Sokue Jodi Kotha Koy' on 5 February 2009, making him famous. His previous work involved singing cover versions of Jayanta Hazarika's and Bhupen Hazarika's hit songs. Hazarika has embodied his father's cherubic voice over the years, yet he has also created his distinctive style.
